76. Curtis Mayfield: Super Fly (1972)

Here is a quote from Russell's notes. "The first 10 minutes are slow but once we get to Rolling Going's, I thought this episode crushed." That's a true 5 star review.   OHHHHH baby..... Listen, the album is great, it's funky, and Aaron watched the corresponding movie to this soundtrack but none of that matters. Aaron drops a BOMB on the podcast AGAIN! Just when you thought we couldn't get any more juice from that sweet sweet orange! We DID! Aaron is truly the gift that keeps on giving. If you love intercoms, you are guaranteed to love this ep.    We are talking about French Raffi, how Aaron uses a cart, Aaron somehow takes his kid sledding in a parking lot, Rob reveals a secret about his WIFE, and Matt grumbles about restocking shelves.    Then we talk Curtis Mayfield and the soundtrack to Super Fly.
