JaBig | Cycling for World Bicycle Relief

In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I have the chance to speak with JaBig, while sitting in my backyard watching my dog run circles around us. I had first messaged him a year ago, but he was quite busy and we couldn't make it work. It just so happened that this year we had the chance to connect while he was staying with his sister in Ottawa, before taking on his next challenge cycling from North Cape, Norway to Tarifa, Spain, in a continued effort to fundraise for World Bicycle Relief. With a goal of raising $1 million in his lifetime, JaBig has been taking on some pretty spectacular challenges. In 2017 he cycled 17, 763km across Canada on a fixed gear bike. In 2022 he circum-cycled the lower 48 of the United States, riding 13 255km. JaBig is so much more than a bike tourer. He does an amazing job of blending his life before cycling (BC) where he worked as a DJ in Montreal, Canada with his passion for bikes, often doing guest DJ gigs along the way to raise money for his charity of choice.
