Autism Masking What Is It? - (What YOU NEED To Know)

This is what Autism masking is and everything YOU need to know about it! Autism masking is very interesting occurrence and it is a lot harder to spot it that you may think. Autism masking happens when a person on the autism spectrum is trying to put on a front a personality and play a character to hide the fact that they are struggling in the situation of the neuro typical world. Masking is actually one of the main causes that people on the autism spectrum mainly females do not get an autism diagnosis when they should. But knowing what I’m asking is and how to stop it can be a very useful thing to know when dealing with people on the autism spectrum. Males on the autism spectrum do display masking but I would say that it’s way more prominent in females than males. To learn more about this please check out my YouTube video on this topic.
