DON'T LET OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER STEAL YOUR JOY: MY CONVERSATION WITH JANAYA

In today’s episode, I speak with Janaya, who is a naturopath and a mother living in Sydney, Australia. She has lived with Obsessive Compulsive disorder since the age of 17. She was diagnosed with OCD two years ago.

Janya does not have contamination OCD and she does not have counting rituals. One of her biggest triggers is anything that bring her joy or things that should be celebrated. Janaya describes how she has lived with OCD in the past and the steps she took to overcome it after 20 years. She also talks a bit about her profession as a naturopath and how she helps others who have mental illnesses or simply want to live a healthier lifestyle.
