FBI Agent Breaks Down the D4VD Evidence | Celeste Rivas Case with Coffindaffer
The cause of death is still listed as "deferred." The body was too decomposed to easily identify. There's no eyewitness, no confession, no official homicide ruling. And yet prosecutors are moving forward with a grand jury that has full authority to indict D4VD for murder. So what do they have?In Part 1 of this interview, retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer breaks down the physical evidence in the Celeste Rivas case and explains what investigators are likely seeing. A chainsaw found with its protective sheath still on. A burn cage incinerator still boxed. PI Steve Fischer's assessment that "the plan got upended" and Celeste "was not meant to be left in that Tesla."We examine the timeline: last confirmed alive January 2nd, 2025. Tesla parked in its final spot July 29th—allegedly the same day D4VD left for tour. Body discovered September 8th. Jennifer explains what a timeline like this tells investigators, how decomposition affects forensic analysis, and why prosecutors pushed to seal the autopsy findings. We also discuss how murder cases built entirely on circumstantial evidence succeed—or fail—and what toxicology results could mean for the charges prosecutors ultimately pursue.D4VD has not been arrested or charged. He remains presumed innocent. But Jennifer Coffindaffer helps us understand how prosecutors build a case when the evidence doesn't speak for itself.Part 2 covers the grand jury and D4VD's inner circle.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISDOES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Brendan Banfield Murder Trial 2026: Did IRS Agent Frame Stranger for Wife Christine Banfield's Death?
The trial everyone's waiting for is finally coming. January 2026. Cameras in the courtroom. And a case that sounds like it was ripped from a crime novel.Brendan Banfield — a former IRS criminal investigative agent — is charged with four counts of aggravated murder in the deaths of his wife Christine Banfield and a man named Joseph Ryan. Prosecutors allege Banfield orchestrated an elaborate scheme with the family's Brazilian au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhães, to murder Christine and frame Ryan as her attacker.According to the prosecution, Banfield created a fake profile on FetLife using Christine's photo — without her knowledge — and lured Ryan to their Herndon, Virginia home for what Ryan believed was a consensual sexual encounter. Instead, prosecutors say Ryan was shot and killed, and Christine was stabbed to death by her own husband. The four-year-old daughter was in the basement the entire time.Juliana has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and will testify against Brendan. She claims he planned everything — the fake profile, the gun purchases, even installing sound-canceling windows so neighbors wouldn't hear. But the defense is fighting back hard, pointing to digital forensic evidence they say proves Christine created the FetLife account herself. The lead prosecutor was removed from the case after a drinking incident. Investigators who disagreed with the prosecution's theory were allegedly transferred. And the only person talking is the one who already pled guilty.January 2026. Fairfax County. The Delphi Appeal — Did the System Fail Richard Allen at Every Step?
This is the Delphi appeal — start to finish. Defense attorney Bob Motta walks through the full scope of the case now before the appellate court: a warrant allegedly built on omissions and altered statements, a year of extreme solitary confinement that preceded multiple confessions, and a trial where critical defense evidence was never allowed in front of the jury. At every stage, the appeal raises the same question: were constitutional protections followed — or bypassed — to secure a conviction? From the probable cause affidavit… to the conditions inside Westville prison… to what jurors were and were not permitted to hear… This episode connects all three phases into one continuous narrative and examines what happens when pressure, isolation, and restricted evidence replace transparency and due process. Because if a conviction can only survive by hiding contradictions, suppressing context, and breaking a defendant psychologically — then the integrity of the system itself is on trial. #DelphiAppeal #RichardAllen #DelphiMurders #HiddenKillers #TrueCrimePodcast #CriminalJustice #DueProcessit. Who Killed Spencer & Monique Tepe? Ohio Dentist and Wife Executed — Children Left Alive, Killer Vanishes
Columbus, Ohio is searching for answers after a beloved dentist and his wife were found shot to death inside their home on December 30, 2025. Dr. Spencer Tepe, 37, and Monique Tepe, 39, were discovered after Spencer mysteriously failed to show up for work at Athens Dental Depot. When coworkers couldn't reach him or his wife, they drove to the couple's Weinland Park home — where they heard the couple's young children crying inside. Police found Spencer and Monique dead from gunshot wounds. He was shot multiple times. She was shot at least once in the chest. Three 9mm casings were recovered, but no gun was found. There were no signs of forced entry. Their two children, ages 4 and 1, were in another room — alive and physically unharmed. The couple got married inside that same home in 2021. They were one month away from their fifth wedding anniversary. Police have ruled out murder-suicide and are treating this as a targeted double homicide. A city crime camera sits near the home, but police won't say if it captured anything useful. No suspect has been identified. No motive has been disclosed. The investigation is led by Detective Weiner. Tips can be sent to Columbus Police Homicide at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS. #TepeMurders #SpencerTepe #MoniqueTepe #OhioMurder #ColumbusOhio #TrueCrimeToday #WeinlandPark #UnsolvedCase #DoubleHomicide #ColdCase Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISDOES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The Rob Reiner Murder and America's Broken Mental Health System | True Crime Today
Rob Reiner knew his son could hurt him. He reportedly said it out loud the night before he died. And there was nothing he could legally do about it. Nick Reiner is now facing two counts of first-degree murder for allegedly stabbing his parents to death. His defense attorney is building an insanity case. But the real story isn't just about Nick's mental illness — it's about a system that trapped his parents with no way out. California's Lanterman-Petris-Short Act requires imminent danger for involuntary commitment. Not "probably dangerous." Not "clearly deteriorating." Imminent. Right now. This second. Families get 72-hour holds that end the moment the patient says the right words. And addicts are very good at saying the right words. Nick reportedly gamed seventeen rehab programs. He admitted on the Dopey podcast to staying sober just long enough to get released. He convinced his parents to trust him over the professionals. He engineered the arrangement that put him in their guesthouse instead of a supervised facility. The options Rob and Michele had? Let him go to the streets. Hope he gets arrested. Become an untrained institution in their own home. Or fight for years to get a conservatorship that has to be renewed annually. They chose to keep him close. They were 78 and 70. They weren't trained for this. And according to reports, they were terrified. This is happening to families across America right now. The system tells them to set boundaries while their child spirals. Then we act shocked when tragedy strikes. Nick's accountability is coming. But the system that failed his parents deserves scrutiny too. #RobReiner #NickReiner #MicheleReiner #TrueCrimeToday #ReinerMurder #MentalHealth #TrueCrime #California #LPSAct #Justice Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISDOES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? BREAKING: D4VD Indictment Expected | Manager Admits "Wanted to Continue Tour" | Celeste Rivas Grand Jury Update
The D4VD case just took a massive turn. Sources confirm the grand jury hearing evidence in the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez is an indicting grand jury—not merely investigative. Prosecutor Beth Silverman is reportedly seeking murder charges against the 20-year-old singer whose alleged girlfriend's body was found dismembered in his Tesla. Today we cover the latest breaking developments: D4VD's manager Robert Morgenroth testified for days and was overheard saying Silverman was "very pushy" about why he didn't call police. His response? He didn't feel it was his responsibility—his job was to keep the tour going. A female witness failed to appear and now faces arrest via body attachment order. Private investigator Steve Fischer revealed a chainsaw and burn cage incinerator were found inside D4VD's Hollywood rental, both unused—evidence, Fischer says, of a plan that "got upended." We walk through the timeline Fischer has constructed: Celeste was last confirmed alive January 2, 2025. The Tesla was parked in its final spot July 29—the same day D4VD left for tour. The body wasn't discovered until September 8, the day after what would have been Celeste's 15th birthday. D4VD has not been arrested or charged. He remains legally presumed innocent. But with witnesses being compelled to testify, physical evidence mounting, and prosecutors signaling their intent, this case is heading toward a courtroom. We break down what to expect as grand jury proceedings continue into February 2026. #D4VDCase #CelesteRivas #TrueCrimeToday #GrandJuryIndictment #BreakingNews #HollywoodMurder #CelesteRivasUpdate #D4VDNews #TrueCrimePodcast #JusticeForCeleste Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? What the Delphi Jury Never Heard — Evidence the Judge Kept Out
The jury convicted Richard Allen — but the appeal argues they never saw the full picture. They didn’t see the eyewitness sketch rated “10 out of 10” by the witness who helped create it — a sketch that looked nothing like Allen. They didn’t hear expert testimony challenging the reliability of the State’s bullet-matching evidence. They didn’t hear about alternative suspects, unverified alibis, or investigative paths involving ritualistic elements that were explored and then excluded. The jury also never heard audio from Allen’s confinement — only muted video — even as prosecutors described his confessions as “logical and organized.” Timeline evidence that allegedly contradicts the State’s “detail only the killer would know” theory was also kept out. Bob Motta explains what defendants are constitutionally entitled to present, when exclusion of defense evidence becomes reversible error, and whether this trial crossed that line. #DelphiTrial #SuppressedEvidence #WrongfulConvictions #RichardAllen #HiddenKillers #TrueCrimeAnalysis Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISDOES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
