Back to School Series Part 3 - Don’t Skip Class - Show Up in Your Business

Who remembers the feeling of complete and absolute freedom you experienced Freshman year in college? YOU decide when you wake up, YOU decide when if and what you eat each day, YOU decide if you attend class, YOU decide if you do you your homework assignments and how long to study each night. Basically YOU are in the drivers seat of every single aspect of our life.

For many of us, for the first time in our lives, we are fully and completely autonomous. Typically its very thrilling to begin with, until that first exam score comes back (yikes), or the bad eating habits result in packing on the freshman 15. Suddenly all the wisdom our parents have pumped into us for the previous 18 years come flooding back. You're faced with a decision to do the thing that benefits you in the moment or take the actions that you know will serve you in the long run. Honestly some college students never get the hang of this self governing thing.

Entrepreneurship can be very similar. Everyone loves to claim the flexible lifestyle of entrepreneurship but not everyone embraces the self discipline required to DO the work consistently, the self discipline to SHOW UP on the hard days.

In Part 3 of the Back to School Series Tiffany and Julie discuss the importance of "not skipping class". In other words Show Up in your business.
