Racing the Clock: Inside DOJ’s Scramble to Release the Epstein Files (12/19/25)

Inside the Justice Department, the push to release the Epstein files has turned into a race against the clock, driven less by transparency than by damage control. Career prosecutors, records officers, and senior DOJ officials are scrambling to inventory decades’ worth of investigative material spanning multiple districts, agencies, and administrations. The problem is not simply volume, but exposure: the Epstein case intersects with sealed grand jury records, civil settlements, prior non-prosecution agreements, and internal deliberations that were never meant to see daylight. As deadlines loom, the department is attempting to thread an almost impossible needle—producing something that satisfies public demands for disclosure without detonating legal landmines that could reopen cases, trigger appeals, or expose institutional misconduct.

Overlaying that scramble is the intense involvement of national security and intelligence components, which has slowed the process even further. Intelligence agencies and DOJ’s National Security Division are reportedly combing through materials for anything that touches classified sources, foreign intelligence relationships, or sensitive international cooperation—particularly Epstein’s global movements, foreign contacts, and financial pathways. That review process is methodical by design and deeply incompatible with political timelines, creating friction between officials pushing for release and those whose mandate is to prevent exposure at all costs. The result is a high-stakes internal tug-of-war: every day that passes increases public suspicion, while every document released risks revealing not just Epstein’s crimes, but how deeply federal institutions failed—or refused—to stop them.

Of Course Ghislaine Maxwell Plans To Plead The Fifth If Called In Front Of Congress (11/24/25)

Of Course Ghislaine Maxwell Plans To Plead The Fifth If Called In Front Of Congress (11/24/25)

Maxwell’s legal team has signalled that she will invoke her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination if she’s required to testify before the House Oversight Committee (or other congressional investigators) without pre-conditions being met. Specifically, her attorneys have said she will refuse to answer questions unless immunity from further prosecution is granted, the questions are provided in advance, her pending appeals (including to the Supreme Court) are resolved, and the setting is acceptable (for example, not in her prison facility). Without those safeguards, the firm position is that she will “plead the Fifth” and not participate.Because Congress has so far declined to provide the kind of immunity or guarantees Maxwell’s counsel demands, the committee chair (James Comer) has publicly stated that she “won’t answer any questions” and will invoke the Fifth. Thus, barring a change in those conditions, her testimony appears to be off the table and the committee may opt not to expend resources if she will simply refuse to engage.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

Jamie Raskin And His Shameless Defense Of Stacey Plaskett (11/24/25)

Jamie Raskin And His Shameless Defense Of Stacey Plaskett (11/24/25)

In November 2025, newly released documents from the estate of Jeffrey Epstein revealed that Stacey Plaskett (D-U.S. Virgin Islands) exchanged messages with Epstein during a February 2019 congressional hearing involving Michael Cohen. The texts showed Epstein offering advice on questioning strategy (including prompting “RONA – keeper of the secrets,” a reference to Trump executive assistant Rhona Graff) and congratulating Plaskett’s questioning with “Good work.” Plaskett’s office acknowledged Epstein as a constituent (he owned islands in the territory) but denied that he was directing her actions. A GOP-led motion to censure Plaskett and strip her from the House Intelligence Committee failed by a narrow margin.During the floor debate on the resolution, Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) defended Plaskett by saying Republicans were effectively “arraigning a Democratic member for taking a phone call from her constituent, Jeffrey Epstein” during a hearing. He argued there was no specific House rule forbidding such contact and that the resolution was premature—“you don’t get answers by rushing to judgment and turning the whole process upside-down,” he said. Raskin thus framed Plaskett’s interaction as part of her representative role rather than evidence of wrongdoing.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

What Donald Trump’s Attack on the Epstein Case Reveals About Influence and Fear (Part 2) (11/24/25)

What Donald Trump’s Attack on the Epstein Case Reveals About Influence and Fear (Part 2) (11/24/25)

In this episode, we tear apart the delusion that anyone in power is coming to save us from the rot at the center of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. No mysterious hero, no hidden plan, no 4D chess. Just a government and media machine built to protect predators while survivors fight alone. We break down how Donald Trump’s decision to call the Epstein case a hoax was not ignorance but a calculated act of cruelty, a full scale assault on more than a thousand victims, and a desperate attempt to smother the truth before it burns down the people who benefitted from Epstein’s empire. We dig into the cult-like loyalty that fuels the denial, the circus of rage and slogans substituting for thought, and the grotesque hero worship that turned politics into a personality cult at the expense of actual justice. This is not a story about left versus right. It is a story about power versus everyone else. About survivors fighting uphill against billionaires, institutions, and a president who mocks their trauma and enables predators by pretending their suffering never happened. We expose how broken the system truly is, how the powerful protect each other while the public is distracted with memes and rage bait, and why nothing changes until regular people stop waiting for cavalry and pick up their own weapons: truth, persistence, and refusal to shut up. If you are tired of the lies, tired of the gaslighting, tired of watching monsters get protected while the wounded get buried, this episode is for you. This is the storm they keep pretending is coming. Larry Summers And His Honeymoon Getaway To...Epstein's Island (11/24/25)

Larry Summers And His Honeymoon Getaway To...Epstein's Island (11/24/25)

In December 2005, ten days after their wedding, Summers and New embarked on their honeymoon, travelling first to the Caribbean and then—according to publicly available flight logs—to Epstein’s private island. They departed from Bedford, Massachusetts, on December 21 on Epstein’s plane bound for St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, a typical staging point to transfer onward to Little Saint James. The records indicate that Summers and New, along with Epstein’s pilot and Ghislaine Maxwell as co-traveller, made a short stop on the island for less than a full day. A spokesperson for Summers later confirmed the brief visit, noting it took place “long before” Epstein’s first formal federal criminal charges.Although Summers has never been charged with any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein, this honeymoon stop has become a focal point of scrutiny because it occurred while Epstein was already under investigation for alleged sexual crimes and because the island later became infamous for sex-trafficking allegations. The trip is now viewed as one of multiple documented occasions Summers flew aboard Epstein’s aircraft, including three flights during his tenure as president of Harvard University.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.
