33:40 – Dan shares Nathan's story. He wanted to be a missionary in China after graduating college. But instead of asking for donations to fund his missionary work, he went as an English teacher and paid for everything on his own and was actually able to do more missionary work because he was less restricted as a teacher.

36:46 – One listener shares that he has two degrees but doesn't want to work in either of those fields. He has lost jobs and doesn't want to work for an employer again and doesn't know what to do because he needs to make money fast. Dan says:

"When you back yourself into a corner, don't expect somebody else to force you into success. Your mindset, your own expectations and accepting responsibility for where you are are critical to your success in life."

Your personal skills often preclude the value of your technical skills or degrees.
