It’s Series 2, Episode 5 of the Running Loose podcast - and the post-Ascot wheels certainly come off in this edition.

Will Vanessa pass the ultimate taste test featuring Edinburgh Gin after she was considered to be ‘snobby’ in an earlier episode about only having Fever Tree mixers over Schweppes.

The ladies look ahead to the rest of the racing calendar this summer, including big race meets at Goodwood, Newmarket, Galway and Francesca’s personal favourite, the Gran Premio Merano in Italy.

They also discuss why Ascot was such a hit with punters and TV viewing share this year and the difference between this event and Cheltenham.

They reflect on some wild nights out in the picturesque seaside town called Deauville in France, which hosts a major horse racing event every year. On that note, Francesca shocks us with her very own memory of late night swim in the sea in that involved not many clothes!

Vanessa once again divulges her icks about men, but this time it’s with her old rating system! Who knew that being a good dancer makes one even more attractive but wearing a t-shirt under a shirt is a big no-no?
