Establishing healthy boundaries (and sticking to them) is the key to getting ahead in business As an entrepreneur, setting boundaries can be really difficult because you often feel like you need to do things (that you don’t necessarily want to do) in order to create the business you’ve always dreamt of. Sure, you could speak at that Live event and get in front of a new audience – but it would mean you’d miss your daughter’s dance recital. Or, you could go on that much-anticipated girls’ weekend with your BFFs, but it’s smack dab in the middle of your pre-launch runway so you know you’d be distracted the entire time. Figuring out where to draw the line with certain things in your business (and your personal life) is tricky because there’s not always a clear answer. Believe me, this is something I’ve struggled with over the years – but now that I’m 14 years into entrepreneurship, I’ve *finally* figured out a way to establish healthy boundaries, and most importantly, stick to them.
