The Big Bad Broadcast EP 212 -- Comedy Legends and the Art of Improv: Remembering John Mulroney

In this episode of the Big Bad Broadcast, we dive into the world of online shopping addiction. We share my personal struggle with eBay and Amazon, confessing my compulsive buying habits and the ridiculous items I've accumulated over the years, including a plethora of hooded sweatshirts and even periwinkle shoelaces. John chimes in with his own experiences, revealing his challenges with magic-related purchases and the allure of bargains.

Our conversation takes a nostalgic turn as we reminisce about childhood toys, particularly G.I. Joe, and the value of items from our past. We also touch on the thrill of thrifting and the excitement of finding hidden treasures, like a valuable piece of pottery I picked up for just $4.99.

As we navigate through our shopping habits, we discuss the pitfalls of online shopping, including the disappointment of receiving items that don't match their descriptions. We share funny anecdotes, including a mishap with a bug zapper and the infamous dead fish gift I once presented on stage.

The episode takes a poignant turn as we remember our late friend and fellow comedian John Mulroney, celebrating his quick wit and unique ability to engage with audiences. We recount hilarious stories from our time with him, highlighting his improvisational skills and the joy he brought to the comedy scene.

Overall, this episode is a blend of humor, nostalgia, and heartfelt memories, showcasing the ups and downs of our lives as comedians and friends. Join us for a fun ride filled with laughter and reflection!
