The episode explores the housing challenges in Lagos, Nigeria, including the shortage of housing units, segmentation issues, uncoordinated government policies, climate change, and problematic land use acts. Tunde Reis is a retired as a brigadier general from the Nigerian Army and is now CEO of First World Communities Ltd - a company focused on large-scale delivery of affordable housing and associated infrastructure in West Africa. He also serves as a consultant to the Nigerian Army and other government agencies on housing, land, and urban development. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Lagos and a master's degree in Architecture as well as a Ph.D. from the Architectural Association Graduate School in London.

Victoria Oshinusi is an Environmental designer with a background in architecture and passion for sustainable urbanism. She believes that our health as individuals is deeply connected to the health of our relationships with each other and the natural environment. Since graduating from The Barlett School of Architecture and TU Delft and working at various international firms, her research, design, and communication studio, Wearthly.Studio focuses on inclusivity and sustainability through the intersection of ‘culture’ and ‘nature’.
