Some of that reporting and opinion writing is now being cited in anti-trans state legislation across the country.

Journalist Katelyn Burns, co-host of the Cancel Me, Daddy podcast, breaks down how it has a direct impact on trans livelihoods.

That law was pushed last year by Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis.
