🌸 Bone density does not always equal bone strength, and a “normal” scan does not guarantee low fracture risk. 🌸 Newer tools like fragility scores look at bone structure, not just density, to better predict fractures. 🌸 Bone loss can begin in perimenopause, making early screening and awareness critical. 🌸 Exercise, especially resistance training, is the only proven way to build healthy, physiologic bone. 🌸 Hormones and supplements support bone health but cannot replace the effects of muscle and movement. 🌸 Understanding absolute versus relative risk helps patients make clearer, more informed treatment decisions.
