Octavia Hatcher - Buried Alive

Octavia Smith Hatcher's legacy in Pikeville is veiled in mystery, her story holding a chilling fate. In the 1800's she allegedly fell ill and was accidentally buried alive while in a coma. Her vengeful and angry spirit is said to walk the world of the living as she is fuelled by her anger at those who allowed her to succumb to such a horrific end of waking in her pitch black tomb, six feet underground.
