Targeted in Victoria: The Murder of Lindsay Buziak

In 2008, a young real estate agent in Victoria, British Columbia, received what should have been a career-defining opportunity: a million-dollar home showing for new clients eager to buy. Instead, it became one of Canada’s most haunting unsolved murders.

After a series of calls from a woman with a foreign accent, Lindsay agreed to show a vacant luxury home to a couple she had never met. She told people in her life something about the situation felt off. She took precautions. She tried to be careful.

But within minutes of arriving at the property, Lindsay was brutally killed.

In this episode, we dig into the lead that brought her there, the mysterious prepaid phone used to contact her, and the unsettling possibility that this wasn’t random — that someone may have chosen her.

Was this a targeted attack? A setup connected to something larger? Or something closer to home?

Nearly two decades later, the questions remain — and so does the search for justice.
