It’s our first book read, and we’re excited to bring you another “After the Broadcast” recap. In this week’s “MTT LIVE with The Niche Pastor,” we spend time together in Dr. Yolanda Pierce’s book, “In My Grandmother’s House: Black Women, Faith and the Stories We Inherit.” We journey through new and familiar terms (paradosis, womanism, womanist theology, grandmother theology and more). In her recap, Dr. LaKendra offers us some questions for reflecting on our own faith narrative and religious legacy. Grab a pen or keyboard and spend time in your weekend or week ahead looking at these questions: 1) what is the religious legacy you’ve inherited, and how do you keep it alive? 2) how has faith been birthed in and nurtured for you? 3) what is your prayer posture, what are your prayer practices, and what is your prayer language?
