Season Finale ft. Mike Harris, Joan McCusker and Rob Faulds

Kevin, Warren and Jim are joined by the Sportsnet Curling Broadcast team of Joan McCusker, Mike Harris and Rob Faulds for the final episode of the season. They talk about some changes they saw this season and what they see coming in the near future (5:00), their biggest surprises and their favourite moments(11:00), Warren gives his favourite teams of the year (15:30), they discuss possible ways to modify how teams qualify for the Brier and Scotties (18:15), and wonder if teams be owned and managed by corporate entities? (22:15).

The group discusses the new players' group that was established this season (30:10), the strength and conditioning level of modern curlers and how it’s going to affect the game (35:15), Joan talks about how sweeping differs between the men’s and women’s game (37:45) and they all weigh in on what they thought of the rule changes that were used this year, including the no-tick rule, 10 ends vs 8 etc (42:45).
