Meanwhile, the case has ignited political and public debate in the U.K., including calls from lawmakers for independent inquiries into the monarchy’s handling of Epstein-related ties and criticism of past investigations into alleged sexual abuse claims. King Charles III has publicly stated that “the law must take its course,” and the ongoing scrutiny is raising broader questions about accountability for powerful figures.
