A Conversation with Amy Goober, Action Coach and Multi-Preneur

A Conversation with Amy Goober, Action Coach and Multi-Preneur

At age 60, Amy Goober wanted to bring something new into her life. She started her own Boston area-based business and became a successful Action Coach for women. Amy is the founder of Drive Your Life®, a dynamic group coaching program that supports women to get into the driver’s seat of their own lives using a unique five-step process to achieve their most sought-after goals.

Amy’s signature program Drive Your Life ™ helps women put themselves back on their own To Do List and get into action. Drive Your Life ™ is an engaging talk, small group coaching program, vibrant Facebook group and soon to be published book, all of which are results driven. Amy often gives talks and brings in speakers on such topics as how to make friends later in life. Women who participate in Amy's offerings are finding success in so many areas: career, health and wellness, love relationships, parenting, time management, friendships and activities. She organizes trips for women, many of whom are solo, to make new connections and who simply want company on their travels and for someone else to make all the travel plans, which Amy is adept at organizing.

Amy received her B.S. in psychology from Cornell University. She opened The Icing on the Cake, a Boston cake bakery, at age 26 in 1986. She has since sold it to two of her employees, and it continues to be one of the top bakeries in the Boston area. As a Certified Health Coach, Amy has helped more than 600 clients in her eight years of health and wellness coaching, with an emphasis on better physical health and weight loss. She reached the level of Global Director, being one of only 2% of all 35,000 Health Coaches at the company to achieve this rank. She led, supervised and mentored a team of 70 coaches. Amy has moved from bakery founder to at home Mom, seasoned health coach, and now founder of Drive Your Life ™. As an Accountability & Action Coach, Amy speaks on personal motivation, women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and health and wellness.

Amy is a multi-prenuer connecting and supporting women via her brands Better Together® Events, Wandering Women Trips and Get Connected Community. She works with women 1:1, in group coaching programs, leading in-person retreats and travel groups, as well as via online communities. Many of her offerings are provided online. Her next Drive Your Life program will be offered virtually in September. She seeks to help women connect and feel supported and uplifted, which she does every single day!
