The cloud is always cheaper than on-premises. The cloud is most often not cheaper than on-premises options. 3. All applications and data sets will eventually be in "the cloud." Not all applications and data sets will move to the "cloud." 4. The cloud drives more simplicity. Using the cloud drives more complexity, leading to higher operational costs.
