We are thrilled to release our very first guest episode as we continue to observe during National Adoptee Month.

This podcast dives into the world of work, careers, and life for Adoptees, Foster Care Alumni, our allies, parents, child welfare professionals, policy experts, and all within the Adoptee and Foster Alumni's orbit.

This episode features Rebecca Wellington in conversation with our Founder & CEO, Grace Yung Foster, who is also the host of the show.

Rebecca (Becca) Wellington, PhD, is a Teacher, Historian, Adoptee and Award-Winning Author of the book “Who is a Worthy Mother? An Intimate History of Adoption”.

Who is a Worthy Mother? is her first book; she’s now working on a second, Breaking Boundaries: Activism and Acculturation at Chemawa Indian School.

Rebecca was driven to write a history of adoption in the United States from the perspective of an adoptee and to honor the memory of her older sister and the truth of brave women everywhere.
