12: Marcus Aurelius - How To Be Mindful (Stoicism)

In this episode, we will be talking about how to be mindful from the wisdom of Marcus Aurelius. Marcus Aurelius was the emperor of Rome from 161 to 180 AD and is considered as the last of the Five Good Emperors.

Widely referred to as a philanthropic ‘philosopher-king’, Marcus throughout his life worked to embody the philosophy of Stoicism. Stoicism helped him to be constantly mindful of his thoughts and actions. During his rule, Aurelius constructed a series of autobiographical writings known as the Meditations. In his meditations, he spends a great deal of time emphasizing the value of mindfulness and which is why in this video we bring you 5 ways we could learn to be more mindful of our thoughts and actions from the wisdom of Marcus Aurelius.
