Show Notes: Stop Worrying and Start Trusting God – Tony Evans

On today’s episode of Cat81 Radio, Allan brings you a powerful and timely message from Tony Evans on overcoming worry and learning to fully trust God. In a world filled with uncertainty, this teaching reminds us that worry is not just emotional—it’s spiritual. It reflects where our trust truly lies.

Tony Evans walks us through the words of Jesus in Matthew 6, where we are told not to worry about tomorrow. God already knows what we need, and He is faithful to provide. When we shift our focus from our problems to God’s promises, something powerful happens—peace begins to replace anxiety.

There’s a clear distinction between concern and worry. Concern leads to action and responsibility. Worry, on the other hand, consumes our thoughts and pulls us away from trusting God. This message encourages us to let go of what we cannot control and place it firmly in God’s hands.

As you listen today, take a moment—slow down, breathe, and reflect. Even Jaggy and Tedi remind us in their quiet, trusting way that rest comes when we feel safe. That same peace is available to us when we trust our Heavenly Father.

Key Takeaways:

Worry is a spiritual issue tied to trust
God already knows your needs before you ask
Seek God’s kingdom first, and everything else follows
Replace anxiety with faith through surrender
True peace comes from trusting God, not controlling outcomes

Let this message strengthen your faith and remind you—you are never alone, and God is always in control.
