Boyfriend 'Accidentally' Shoots Girlfriend Dead in Shower

Nation Wood, a former White House security staffer, is charged with involuntary manslaughter after police say he shot and killed his 22-year-old girlfriend, Samantha Emge, inside their San Francisco apartment. Wood told investigators he was dry firing his gun—pulling the trigger on what he thought was an unloaded weapon—when a bullet went through a wall and struck Emge while she was in the bathroom.
