43. The Mystery of Peter Bergmann

In June 2009 the body of a man in his 50s or 60s was found on a beach in Sligo, Ireland. With no identification found in his belongings, investigators had their work cut out for them. They were able to construct a timeline of the mystery man’s final 4 days which were spent at a hotel in Sligo. But the more they searched for the man’s identity, the more questions would arise once security camera footage was reviewed and bizarre behavior was revealed. More than a decade later, this one remains a mystery.
