WAVELENGTH: Ashton Hurn and Deepa Matthew for the state election, Origins of the AUSSIE posters, and Adelaide's latest Oscar nominees.

This episode, Jason sits down with Ashton Hurn, leader of the SA Liberal Party, to discuss their campaign in the lead up to the state election this week. They cover Ashton’s first three months in leadership, as well as the Liberal Party’s stance on housing affordability and the state of the healthcare system.

Bella talks to Peter Drew, famous for his “AUSSIE” art installations, discussing the origins of the pictures he uses in his posters and talking about his use of art as a protest piece.

Later on, Mark chats with Deepa Matthew of The Family First Party to discuss some hot button issues ahead of the upcoming state election. They look at what needs to be done to address affordability issues and support young families, and Family First’s policies on renewable energy and migration.
