Every headline has been about Joseph. About Kendra. About the family calling it persecution. But almost nobody is asking about the children in the middle of all of it.

Four kids under eight with both parents arrested and locks on the outside of their bedroom doors. Seven more being raised by a mother whose husband is in federal prison. A documented family practice of striking infants to teach obedience. And a generation of children being raised by parents who were themselves raised inside a system that denied them autonomy, emotional vocabulary, and access to the world outside their front door.

Hidden Killers host Tony Brueski sits down with psychotherapist Shavaun Scott to focus entirely on what these children are experiencing — psychologically, developmentally, and emotionally. What does their world look like from the inside? What did the parenting methods do to them before they could speak? And what do the people around them need to understand right now?
