Rikki (Scottish Watches) on creating a Swatch Watch and why community is king!

Welcome Welcome Welcome, today's podcast guest is none other than Rikki from Scottish Watches podcast. If you're into watches and listen to podcasts, the chances are excellent that you're already familiar with Rikki and the Caledonian podcast he co-founded. Scottish Watches are something of an unstoppable force in the watch-podcasting world, having recently celebrated their second anniversary and a whopping 200 episodes.

But Rikki isn't on just to toot his own horn; he's here to chat about the podcast's outstanding collaboration with Swatch. Which, as far as first-time collabs go, is pretty much the top of the tree. But this isn't your typical case of watch media cashing in on a short-run production, because they didn't make any money off it. Rather they used it as an opportunity to put something joyful out into the world, and to keep it as accessible as possible.

And of course, we also talk about watches in Scotland and the start of the Scottish Watches empire, and the best guest they've had to date, and no, it's not Archie Luxury.
