In this episode of the Big Bad Broadcast, John shares a rant about his frustrating experience with the healthcare system as he prepares for hip surgery, highlighting the absurdities of medical appointments and the challenges of navigating hospital bureaucracy.

We then transition to a discussion of doctors' quirks and appointments, with both hosts sharing their personal experiences and frustrations. John recounts his encounters with a concierge doctor, while Mike reflects on the inefficiencies of traditional medical practices.

The conversation takes a turn towards family as John proudly mentions his daughter’s upcoming Broadway show, "The Fever of 13," and shares a touching story about a spiritual experience involving birds after a family loss. This leads to a light-hearted exploration of the meanings behind different birds and their symbolism.

As the episode progresses, we share amusing anecdotes about alligators in Florida, including a wild story about a neighbor's dog and a 12-foot alligator. We also touch on the peculiarities of dog ownership, including the challenges of teaching dogs to swim and the amusing sight of dogs on motorcycles.

Finally, we wrap up with a discussion of the international dog surfing contest and the absurdity of dog bikini contests, leaving listeners with a mix of laughter and reflection on life's quirks, family, and our furry friends.
