Matt Clarke set the Meet Record in the 3000m Steeplechase at the Brisbane Track Classic breaking clear of Ben Buckingham. In the women’s steeplechase Cara Feain-Ryan also set a meet record in 9:38.44 over Stella Radford and Brielle Erbacher. Catriona Bisset opened her season with a 1:59.74 in the Women’s 800m ahead of Ellie Sanford & Linden Hall. James Preston took out the men’s 800m in a tight field.
