THE QUANTUM PAPERS FILE 005: Am I Actually a Christian?

A lot of people call themselves "Christian" because they grew up in church or try to be a good person. But in real life, a label doesn't always match what’s under the hood. You can put a "Ferrari" sticker on a slow car, but it doesn't change the engine. In this file, we’re looking past the labels to ask the hard questions about what it actually means to follow Jesus.

The "Advice" Problem: Do you actually follow God, or do you just listen to Him when you already agree with Him? We look at the difference between a "boss" and a "consultant."
The Choice of Hell: We clear up a big misunderstanding. God doesn't "send" people to Hell; He simply respects their choice to live without Him. If you spend your whole life saying "Leave me alone," eventually He honors that.
The Religious Bully: A warning for people who use their faith to look down on others. If your religion makes you mean or arrogant, you’ve missed the point. The church is a hospital for the broken, not a museum for the perfect.
The "Good Person" Myth: Why being a nice citizen or an altar boy 20 years ago isn't a "get into heaven free" card.

THE VERDICT:Heaven isn't for people who are "perfect"—it’s for people who know they need help. We look at the simple math of life: is doing things your way for a few years really worth losing a relationship with God forever?
