022. Why Loving What You Do Changes Everything – Xara Jetly

Xara Jetly is a professional cricketer from New Zealand who plays for Wellington Blaze and is on pursuit to represent the New Zealand White Ferns at the highest level. In this episode, we explore her journey as a female cricketer playing both women’s and men’s cricket, overcoming bias, staying resilient through injury, balancing her career with content creation, and the mindset that fuels her determination and self-awareness. This was one of my favourite conversations so far - Xara opens up with honesty and depth about her motivations, her training philosophy, and what it takes to navigate the highs and lows of professional sport while staying true to herself.
