Amy Duggar King Describes Family's Alleged Suppression System

Amy Duggar King, Jim Bob Duggar's niece and author of the memoir Holy Disruptor, provides detailed testimony about what she describes as a systematic pattern of information suppression within the Duggar family and its associated religious communities.

Amy characterizes Jim Bob Duggar as someone who controls information with the same precision others apply to financial management — determining who knows what, when, and how much. She describes an ecosystem where disclosures of abuse were allegedly handled through church counseling and internal family channels rather than through law enforcement.

The public record includes Josh Duggar's federal conviction and twelve-and-a-half-year sentence for possession of child abuse material. Joseph Duggar was arrested March 18 on a charge of lewd and lascivious behavior on a child under twelve, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit. The alleged victim, now fourteen, told investigators the abuse occurred during a family trip to Panama City Beach when she was nine. Both Joseph and Kendra Duggar were subsequently charged with four counts each of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment in Arkansas.

Amy joins retired FBI Behavioral Analysis Program Chief Robin Dreeke to examine the behavioral indicators of institutional secrecy, the mechanics of how families inside authoritarian religious structures allegedly manage abuse disclosures, and whether the cases that have become public represent the full scope of what has occurred within these communities.

Amy does not name any individuals who have not been charged. She addresses the structural patterns she says she witnessed firsthand and the behavioral dynamics that enable secrecy to persist across generations.
