Stanley Cupdate - 'Canes Sweep, Pens Survive, Wild Square with Stars - April 26, 2026

In the past four springs, there have been only two opening round sweeps. We got another one Saturday with Hurricanes being the first to punch their ticket to the conference semi-finals by taking out the Ottawa Senators.

The Pittsburgh Penguins put off their own summer vacation with a solid effort in Philadelphia while Minnesota Wild avenged a Game 3 double OT loss with an OT win of their own to square that series at 2-2.
