Joseph Duggar: Florida Felony and Arkansas Endangerment Charges

Joseph Garrett Duggar, 31, of Tontitown, Arkansas, faces two felony charges in Bay County, Florida: lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim under twelve and lewd and lascivious behavior by a person eighteen or older. The charges stem from alleged incidents during a 2020 family trip to Panama City Beach. A fourteen-year-old complainant disclosed to investigators that Duggar allegedly engaged in inappropriate contact with her on multiple occasions when she was nine years old. According to the arrest affidavit, Duggar made admissions to the complainant’s father and subsequently to a Tontitown police detective monitoring a recorded phone call.

Duggar pled not guilty via written plea and waiver of arraignment filed by defense counsel. He posted $600,000 bond with conditions prohibiting unsupervised contact with any person under eighteen. In a separate matter, both Joseph and Kendra Duggar, 27, face four counts each of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts each of second-degree false imprisonment in Washington County, Arkansas, charges reportedly connected to conditions discovered during a law enforcement search of their residence.
