How did Jesus handle the devil

When Satan came against Jesus, there was no debate, no reasoning, and no compromise. Jesus answered with one simple, powerful response: “It is written.” Each temptation was met with the authority of God’s Word, showing that victory over the enemy comes through knowing, believing, and speaking Scripture.

This teaching emphasizes that the Word of God is not optional—it is our life. Just as Jesus declared that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, believers today must be grounded in the Word to stand against the enemy’s tactics.

Steve also explains how the enemy works—through thoughts, pressure, and deception—and how Christians are to respond with clarity, authority, and faith. Believers are not to entertain the enemy, reason with him, or play with temptation, but to resist him, stand firm, and declare the truth of God’s Word.

This message is a call to know your place in God, to understand your authority through Jesus Christ, and to walk in victory by applying the Word in everyday life.

This teaching reminds us that the enemy is defeated, God’s Word is final, and when we stand on what is written, the devil must flee.
