“They”… are the team at Eleven Madison Park (EMP), one of the world’s top restaurants who we are a bit fascinated with. Not because this restaurant is fancy, and not because it is in one of our favourite cities in the world, New York, but because the leadership at EMP believes in the remarkable power of giving people MORE than they expect.

In today’s episode we talk about a fabulous book we are both reading which inspired this episode, called “Unreasonable Hospitality” written by previous EMP co-owner Will Guidara, which is all about the psychology of others, and creating experiences people NEVER forget.

We talk about leadership, service, creativity and most of all the acts of generosity and surprise and delight that everyone can adopt in order to be remembered. Ral shares a few great stories of her dining experience recently at EMP and as always we share tips on how you can also deliver on more than what is expected every day in your life, so your brand is also remembered.
