006: Trust with Peta Young

Welcome back to The PIVOT Leadership Podcast.

In this episode, we're focusing on building trust within your team. To join me in talking about trust is Peta Young, someone who’s naturally curious about people and what they can achieve.

Peta has worked extensively in Learning and Development for over two decades. She was in a senior role at The Entertainer for 23 years, supporting all aspects of the business both in the UK and abroad. In 2022, she transported her wealth of knowledge and expertise to Oxygen Activeplay, where she now works as their People Director. Alongside this, she’s on the Board of Governors for Captiva Ltd, where she supports the business from a corporate and employer perspective.

We’ll be discussing why building trust is essential for creating a safe and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and empowered. We'll delve into effective strategies for leaders to cultivate trust, and Peta will share her insights on why trust has been a cornerstone throughout her extensive career in Learning and Development.
