The Bait Of satan

📻 Cat81 Radio – Show Notes

Title: The Bait of Satan
Speaker: John Bevere

🔹 Episode Overview
In this penetrating message, John Bevere exposes one of the enemy’s most effective traps—offense. Drawing from his teaching in The Bait of Satan, he explains how unresolved hurt, resentment, and unforgiveness can quietly separate believers from God’s best. This is a call to recognize the trap, refuse it, and walk in freedom.

💡 Core Themes

Offense Is a Trap
The Greek word for offense (skandalon) refers to a baited trap. When you take the bait, you become bound.
Deception Follows Offense
Offended people often believe they’re right—even when they’re not. It clouds judgment and hardens the heart.
Forgiveness Is Non-Negotiable
Jesus made it clear: if we don’t forgive, we hinder our own relationship with God.
Freedom Comes Through Release
Letting go of offense isn’t weakness—it’s spiritual strength and obedience.

📖 Biblical Anchors

Luke 17:1 — Offenses will come, but we must guard our hearts
Matthew 6:14–15 — Forgive, and you will be forgiven

🙏 Key Takeaway
You can’t always control what happens to you—but you can control whether you take the bait. Choose forgiveness. Choose freedom.

🐾 From the Cat81 Family
Jaggy and Tedi would remind you—don’t carry what you were never meant to hold. Let it go, rest in peace, and stay close to the One who heals every wound.
