Episode 179: Bonus: When You Go All-In On an Employee and They Leave

The fear of investing in an employee who winds up being the wrong fit (or worse siphoning intellectual property and trade secrets then bails) is a very common stagnating roadblock.

That's why I decided to reshare this bonus episode for you this week.

This lesson doesn't need a checklist, it doesn't actually require much strategy or structure. This message comes from the heart. It requires you to open your mind to a new way of thinking and to slow down to really bring into focus the bigger picture of what you're doing here.

I can count on one hand the number of clients I've worked with who haven't had that thought "what if I train my new nurse and she leaves"?

And it's reality. But the problem is, this fear can be crippling to the team building process for entrepreneurs.

But the fact is, there really are no guarantees. That's the beauty of the human experience. It's about going all-in and allowing ourselves the grace to fail, to lose, to make mistakes.
