Axel Vervoordt —hands down. His work strikes the perfect balance between restraint and richness. Every space feels like a sanctuary, grounded in natural materials and thoughtful detail. It’s not about flash; it’s about feeling—and that resonates with how I think luxury should be experienced.

2. Which architect’s work do you find most inspiring, and what stands out to you about it?

Frank Lloyd Wright—well before his time, creating timeless masterpieces that still influence modern design today. His understanding of space, light, and flow was revolutionary, and yet it still feels completely current. That’s the hallmark of true vision.

3. What’s your favorite luxury vacation spot, and what makes it unforgettable?

St. Barths—I never stop smiling when I’m there. It’s the energy, the views, the food, the people. There’s a rhythm to life on the island that just instantly recharges you.

4. Is there a particular artist, designer —who’s influencing your taste or mindset lately?

Daniel Arsham. His ability to play with form and function—and blur the line between art and architecture—is deeply inspiring. There’s a futuristic yet nostalgic quality to his work that makes you think differently about space and permanence.

5. What does high-end mean to you, and is there something cool you’ve seen or experienced lately that really resonated with quality?

High-end, to me, means intention. It’s when design, material, and execution all meet at the highest level—not for show, but for substance. Recently, I toured a property where the millwork alone took over a year to complete—each piece hand-finished, no shortcuts. That kind of commitment to quality? You feel it the moment you walk in.
