#140 - Catherine Lyell - The Truth About Porn

Catherine Lyell is the founder and owner of Integrated Men's Health. Which specialises in sexual health, porn addiction and sexual abuse. Whether it's overcoming porn addiction, erectile disfunction, premature ejaculation or other sexual health issues, Catherine is go-to person to treat you.

Since we last spoke with Catherine, she now also works with women, couples and teenagers who may have dealt with sexual abuse or intimacy issues. And that's really what we covered today.

Last time Catherine was on the show (Episode 59) we covered a range of topics but really focused on what porn does to your brain and the long-term effects.

This time, we took a more holistic approach between the genders and really dived into the dating world and what a sex life should look like. She shared how often we should be masturbating and what orgasm should really feel like. Trust us, the answers will shock you!

Catherine has written an incredibly comprehensive book about the dangers of porn addiction and how it can shape your life. So there is no better person to talk to regarding this. We covered what classifies addiction and how it becomes so and why it is directly linked to premature ejaculation and erectile disfunction. Plus, the rapidly growing epidemic of sexual abuse cases.

On the flip side though, we heard about the amazing outcomes of working on this area of your life, and becoming what Catherine defines as a "sex god".

This episode is unreal and has so many jaw dropping moments. Please be advised though, this episode is quite graphic so if you have little kids around, you may want to come back and listen when they're not within earshot!
