#198 - Jodie Burden - Producing Your Favourite Reality TV Shows

Jodie Burden is one of Australia's leading reality TV Show producers. She is also a former Reality TV Show star, radio host & TV Presenter.

Anything you've ever wanted to know about how reality TV is created, you're about to find out. No matter which show is your favourite, there is a good chance Jodie has had something to do with it at some level.

Jodie opens up about the magic of how the shows are produced.

She shares how casts are hand-picked to ensure the show will be captivating with the right mix of characters to make it must-watch TV and then how manipulation can occur if people don't live up to the original expectations.

We learn about where the lines are drawn, what is signed off on, what can't be filmed and the safe spaces the talent can go when they need a moment to themself.

Jodie tells her experience of being an original cast member on "Last Resort" and how the relationship she formed with her producer sent her on the path she is on now.

Plus, we get all the nitty gritty details of payments, show villains, the nights of sleeping in a swag under the stars and of course the best and worst shows out there!

Take a peak from the other side of the camera and enjoy the magic of TV with the one and only, Jodie Burden.
