#285 - Nick Stone - Old Mates, Bluestone Lane & Taking on America's Hospo Scene

Nick Stone is the Founder of Bluestone Lane & Old Mates Pub.

Since his move to New York City (originally as investment banker) and subsequently Los Angeles, he has done incredible things in the hospitality industry.

Our timing didn't quite line up when we were in both those cities in our recent U.S. Tour, but would you believe, we sat down with Nick while he was briefly in Melbourne.

Nick is about to share his amazing story with you of how he turned a dream into a reality...and then into a genuine empire!

Hear about why Old Mates is absolutely pumping, the A-listers that frequent the pub and why their marketing is so strong...even back home in Australia!

We talk about the original vision for Bluestone Lane, how he survived Covid, taking it to multiple cities across the U.S., and the challenges that come with it.

Nick also shares how difficult it was to quit his original job and some unreal insight into anyone who is a founder or wants to build something from the ground up...whether in business or otherwise!

On the Spot returns and we have plenty of laughs in this one.

You will love Nick's humility, advice and nature...it is no wonder why he has the reputation he has.

Sit back and enjoy, the inspiring, Nick Stone!
