Maven Lore has been in the Vampire Community since the 90s, long before it was an aesthetic. He coined the term "fangsmith" in 1998, ran blood raves with stage blood, witnessed actual wood-stake attacks from self-proclaimed vampire hunters, and spent 17 years inside a cult he had to claw his way out of. Pixie brings her own harrowing story of escaping a predatory religious group that targeted her family after her father's death.

Together, they dismantle Hollywood vampire mythology, explain why New Orleans sits at a spiritual crossroads, and make a case for why being weird is not only okay, it's worth protecting.
