Just like we did with Old World New York, we’re pulling back the curtain on the Windy City’s hidden past.

On the same single night as the Great Chicago Fire, multiple massive fires erupted across the entire Lake Michigan region yet Chicago somehow became the only story that mattered.

Just 22 years later, they built the legendary 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition the “White City” erecting hundreds of enormous, ornate Beaux-Arts buildings in record time, only to tear nearly all of them down immediately after the fair ended.

We’re digging into the impossible construction timelines, the mysterious Medina Club, the buried ruins still hidden beneath the city, and the very real possibility that Chicago was built on top of something far older and far more advanced than we’ve been told.
