Lori Hellis is an author and a retired criminal defense attorney who has a blog and is currently writing a book about Lori Vallow Daybell.

She is in Boise, Idaho, to attend and write about the trials. Lori says she wants to understand the perfect storm of people and circumstances that culminated in this sad ending.
