While here in South Africa, I was grateful for the opportunity to discuss the country's controversial new legislation with Dr Ernst Roets. An Afrikaner author and filmmaker, Dr Roets is a vocal campaigner for free speech, property rights and justice for murdered farmers. He is a leading expert on the topic of farm murders, and his book, ‘Kill the Boer: Government Complicity in South Africa's Brutal Farm Murders’ is an international bestseller. Dr Roets is also the producer of several documentary films. He is the Executive Director of the Pioneer Initiative, which seeks to promote a more sustainable political dispensation for South Africa based on the principles of self-governance and decentralisation.
