New World Order. Three words that have become the most searched political conspiracy phrase in the English language. The phrase itself has been used publicly by three US Presidents — George H.W. Bush used it in a 1990 speech before Congress to describe a post-Cold War international order. Henry Kissinger used it repeatedly. Gordon Brown used it during the 2009 financial crisis. The language of global governance, international institutions, and multilateral coordination is not hidden — it is openly discussed in the speeches of world leaders, the publications of think tanks, and the founding documents of international organisations.

The conspiracy theory holds that what these leaders are describing publicly is the visible face of a deeper plan: a covert agenda by a hidden elite to abolish national sovereignty, dismantle democratic governments, establish a single world military force, implement universal surveillance, eliminate cash in favour of a controlled digital currency, and place all of humanity under a single unelected global authority.

In this episode of The Conspiracy Theory Analyst, we examine the New World Order conspiracy theory — one of the oldest and most extensively documented conspiracy narratives in modern political thought — and trace its history from the post-World War One era, through the John Birch Society of the 1950s and 60s, through Pat Robertson's 1991 book that brought it to mainstream American Christianity, to its 21st century merger with the Great Reset, the WEF, the UN 2030 Agenda, and digital currency narratives.
